This, That, the Other, and Work

Well, I think I have a whole pile of icons piled up. And no, the pun was not intentional. I think my brain is fried. Between the new job and the mounds of schoolwork and allergies, I'm completely exhausted.

I absolutely LOVE my new job. I work for the government (yay for the boost to my resume). I work as an intern at the Professional Licensing Board (my department works with RNs, LPNs, dietitians, cosmotologists, etc.). It's like the PERFECT job for me. I don't have to be on phones, I get to read a ton of interesting files (and NOT get in trouble), I get to work on the computer (HEART!), and my co-workers are absolutely awesome. :D Seriously, this job is an answered prayer.

I had a really good week at work, learned a ton of stuff, and am really exhausted. Today, it rained, and I got my hose and shoes soaking wet. :P I have to wear office type clothes to work so I decided that skirts are better than slacks (I really hate slacks because all the ones I find make me look horrendously fat, and slacks are ugly anyways. Give me jeans or lounge pants or pjs!). But skirts = having to wear hose even though hose are horrible because it's still winter and cold. :P I hate being wet when I'm dressed up. The dressing up part is fun.

Sorry for all the rambling. I'm behind in my schoolwork since I didn't plan well. So I'll be doing school tomorrow (Saturday) and possibly Sunday. Yuck and yuck. I'll plan better for next week.

So here's a bunch of random pink-themed stock. I'm going through a random pink faze. I have no idea why. I like pink well enough, but this is really random (my closet consists of various shades between blue and teal, brown, and black).

I was trying out this tutorial and tweaking it. I guess I got a little too carried away. Not all of them are that great, but oh well.

Here's to a world of pink!

Pink indeed! Some of those are a little too pink for my tastes, but it is a very nice batch all in all. My favorites are 8, 26, 27, 28, 33 (weeee! Books!), 48, 59, 66 (beautiful coloring).

But the quote is actually from the soundtrack (it's not in the movie). If you go to the Tangled website, you can listen to most of the soundtrack, but I'm not sure since my sisters are the ones who were listening to it. :D

Tbh I don't think these are too pink at all! In fact they're pretty subdued. I adore them, they are amazing! As are just ALL your icons :D I look at em all the time!
