I know I haven't been on in so long, but things have gotten pretty busy between graduation and working 40 hours a week. I hardly have anytime to myself. Especially since I have to commute to work. :P

Here are some icons that have been piling up. I'm hoping to do an icon battle with aravisautarkeia. Is anyone else interested in doing one? Also, I'm planning to do another texture collaboration, if any one is interested.

I'm gonna try to do a Yu-na moodtheme to go with my new header. ^^ And some graphics from her Kiss and Cry! I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited about it! It's been great so far!

Basically, we come up certain fandoms that we have in common. Then we each pick a certain number of pictures for each fandom, and then make icons however we like.

I think we both like a lot of period dramas, right? Do you like The Young Victoria? Because I'd love to do that as one of the fandoms. If not, we can figure out some other fandoms.

Let's do Narnia, LotR, Pride and Prejudice, and maybe we could do some Narnia cast? I enjoy iconning Anna Popplewell and Georgie Henley, so if you want we could do that.

Or actually if you just want to do 20 icons total, we could just do Narnia and LotR. You pick 5 screencaps for each one, and I'll pick 5 for each one.

Or if you wanted to do the four different ones, we could do a total of 40 icons.

Lovely work! :) I like how 4 turned out, and the brightness of the colouring on 8-10 is so pretty! 17 is also particularly nice. :)

The commuting sounds awful and a devourer of time (is it a horribly long commute?), but I hope work is going well for you otherwise. :)

An icon battle against you would be so much fun and such a good challenge for me, but I'm not sure when would be a good time on my end. Maybe someday, though, if you've time for it, we could do one? :)

Communiting takes anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour (depending on if speed :P and how traffic is). I don't mind it, but it just eats up a lot of time!

Well, still, that means the drive takes up an hour to two hours every day, so it does eat up a lot of time! I always feel kind of bad when my coworkers talk about how long it takes for them to get to work and I sit there thinking, "It only takes me about a quarter of that time to get here..." Hopefully the drive itself goes by fairly quickly for you. :)

Well, to be honest, I'm not sure how long it takes for one (since I've never done one before), but I currently have three or so weeks in the beginning of July (after the 4th) when I have nothing really but work planned. Would that work for you? :) I could do one sometime after that too, of course, if that works better for you, but I don't know what all I'll have planned then (if I'm off work by that time, then I might have oodles of time, so it's kind of up to you). :)

Oh, good! Nice scenery and music help tons. I always like the bits in the country best when I go home (that, and there's usually less traffic there!); while my commute here is short, it's rather boring. :D

Glad that'll work! What fandoms would you like to do? I know we have a number in common, even if I've never made graphics for them before (there are surprisingly quite a few of those).

As far as what subject/fandom we do it over, do you have a preference? Off the top of my head, I know we have LotR, Sherlock, period dramas, and possibly some Disney in common, though I'm really up for almost anything you'd like to do. :)

As far as Disney goes, I'm game for pretty much any of the "princess" films (I haven't done graphics for any really, though especial favourites are probably Mulan, Sleeping Beauty, Beauty and the Beast, The Princess and the Frog, and Tangled)...I'm afraid I'm drawing a bit of a blank on everything else Disney has done at the moment. :P

As for period dramas, I like the '95 P&P (though I know you've done a lot of graphics for it), the '95 S&S, North and South, The Young Victoria (again, I know you've done this before), Little Dorrit (which you've done as well), Cranford, Persuasion (either one), and some other ones that I'm currently drawing a blank on. :P
Just about the only ones I'd rather not do are the ones I haven't seen. ;) I think of the most popular ones, that'd be Wives and Daughters, the '05 P&P, the '08 S&S, Return to Cranford, and the most recent Emma.

Just to clarify, I don't mind doing some that you've done before, if you'd like. I just don't want you to feel like you have to make graphics for something you want to take a break from simply because it's on my list. :D
